Meet Your Plants

Holy Basil / Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum): A fragrant herb with warm, clove-like notes and a long tradition in herbal teas. Its aromatic leaves can be enjoyed fresh or dried.

Wild Bergamot / Bee Balm (Monarda fistulosa): An aromatic perennial with minty, citrusy character and lavender-toned blooms that attract pollinators. Its leaves and flowers are traditionally used in infusions.

Jessica’s Sweet Pear Mint (Mentha ‘Jessica’s Sweet Pear’): A specialty mint with a fresh, fruity aroma reminiscent of pears, lovely in teas and refreshing drinks.

Dark Blue Butterfly Pea (Clitoria ternatea): A heat-loving flowering vine with vivid blue blossoms used to create colorful infusions. Add citrus to shift the infusion’s color toward purple.

Calendula ‘Resina’ (Calendula officinalis ‘Resina’): A resin-rich calendula variety with golden flowers that can be harvested and dried for herbal preparations and suitable tea blends.

Farm Note 🌱

I recommend keeping Jessica’s Sweet Pear Mint in its own container so it has room to grow without spreading into the rest of your tea garden. Give butterfly pea something to climb early, and allow your new starters time to adjust after shipping before transplanting them into their permanent homes.

For future seasons, let selected calendula and holy basil flowers mature if you want to collect seed. Bee balm can also be allowed to set seed after flowering. Harvest only when plants are established and follow the individual care instructions included with your order.
