Meet Your Plants

Arabian Coffee (Coffea arabica): A tropical evergreen with glossy green leaves. Under suitable conditions, mature plants may produce fragrant white flowers followed by coffee cherries.

Pomegranate Baby Tree (Punica granatum): A young, rooted starter approximately 1–4 inches tall. With patience and proper care, it can develop into a flowering shrub or small tree with the potential to produce fruit.

Red Dragonfruit (Selenicereus undatus): A rooted tropical climbing cactus, not an unrooted cutting. Mature plants can produce dramatic flowers and fruit when growing and pollination conditions are suitable.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa): A rooted, actively growing starter with lush foliage and golden-orange rhizomes that can be harvested for culinary use once mature.

White Ginger / Butterfly Ginger Lily (Hedychium coronarium): A fragrant ornamental ginger grown for tropical foliage and beautiful white flowers. These plants are propagated from established White Ginger at the Farmacy. Mature clumps form rhizomes that can be harvested and divided to grow additional plants.

Uses & Harvest

Enjoy Arabian Coffee as a tropical foliage plant, with the possibility of coffee cherries as it matures. Grow pomegranate and Red Dragonfruit for their ornamental appeal and potential future fruit. Harvest mature turmeric rhizomes for cooking, teas, and spice blends. Grow White Ginger for its fragrant flowers and divide established rhizomes for propagation. White Ginger is a flowering ornamental species, not the same plant as culinary ginger (Zingiber officinale).

Farm Note 🌱

I recommend starting these five plants in separate containers because their growing needs are different. Give your little pomegranate time to establish, provide support for your dragonfruit, and protect cold-sensitive plants when temperatures drop. My White Ginger comes from an established mother plant here at the Farmacy, and I've harvested rhizomes from her for propagation. Once your White Ginger forms a mature clump, its rhizomes can be divided to grow more plants. Turmeric can also be propagated from healthy rhizomes. Follow the included care instructions and let your new starters adjust after shipping before transplanting.
