Have you been trying to answer one particular question about your family history?
My Genealogy Quick Search is a focused research service designed to help you investigate a specific ancestor, family relationship, historical record, or clue in your family tree.
Sometimes one missing piece of information can help you understand an entire branch of your family's story.
Why Choose This Service?
You may not need an extensive genealogy research project. Sometimes you simply need an experienced researcher to help you investigate one question.
Examples include:
Who were my great-grandmother's parents?
Can my grandfather be located in a particular census?
Is there a marriage, death, or burial record for my ancestor?
Were two individuals possibly related?
Can a family name, location, or relationship be verified?
This service allows us to concentrate on one clearly defined question.

How the Process Works
After purchasing, please make sure you've provided a current email address at checkout.
I will personally email you a link to my Genealogy Research Client Intake Form.
You'll be asked to share your specific question and whatever information you already know, such as names, approximate dates, locations, family relationships, nicknames, alternate spellings, or existing records.
Once I receive your completed intake form and any requested supporting information, your research timeline begins.
I'll conduct the focused research and provide a written summary of the findings and available supporting sources.
Research beyond the purchased service will not be performed or billed without your approval.
From My Family History Desk
I've spent more than 30 years researching, documenting, and preserving family history.
My own research journey is deeply connected to my ancestors in Gee's Bend and Alabama's Black Belt. As a descendant of these families, I understand how important it is to preserve names, relationships, stories, and the historical records that help connect generations.
I specialize in African American and Southern family-history research, bringing both personal experience and a deep respect for family heritage to my work.
Researcher's Note
I believe every family deserves the opportunity to explore its history and preserve its stories.
Genealogy research does not always produce a simple answer. Historical records can be missing, incomplete, contradictory, or inaccurate. My commitment is to approach your question carefully, document what the available evidence supports, and be transparent about what remains unknown.
Your purchase covers research time, analysis, and documentation—not a guaranteed discovery.
Your family history matters. Let's explore what the records can tell us.
